Physician · Sharm El-Sheikh, South Sinai

Medical care that speaks your language, wherever you're staying.

I look after travellers, international patients and residents of Sharm El-Sheikh — from a sudden illness on holiday to long-term care for chronic conditions, and the vaccinations you need before you fly.

Clinic visits, hotel visits and video consultations. Arabic and English; Italian and Russian spoken.

Who I see

Sharm El-Sheikh brings together people from everywhere, and each group needs something different from a doctor.

Travellers on holiday

Stomach upsets, fevers, diving and sun-related problems, injuries — assessed quickly, with a report your insurer will accept.

International patients

Care coordinated with your insurance or assistance company, and clear written documentation for your doctor at home.

Residents and families

A family doctor for ongoing care: blood pressure, diabetes, weight, check-ups and referrals when you need a specialist.

Before you travel

Pre-travel consultations, vaccinations and advice for your destination, wherever in the world you're going next.

Services

General medicine done properly, with a particular focus on the health of people who travel.

Internal & family medicine

Acute illness, chronic disease management, preventive check-ups and clinical nutrition, including a structured approach to weight and obesity.

All services

Travel medicine & vaccinations

Pre-travel risk assessment, travel vaccines, malaria and altitude advice, and care for illness picked up abroad.

Travel medicine Nutrition & weight

Video consultations

Follow-ups, second opinions and advice from wherever you are — before your trip, during it, or after you get home.

How it works

Public health & research

Health-office experience in South Sinai, epidemiology, and research on the health of tourists in resort settings.

Public health work

Clinical nutrition, obesity and weight control

Weight is a medical issue, not a willpower issue. I treat it the way I treat blood pressure or diabetes: with a proper assessment, a plan that fits your life, and follow-up until it works.

I hold the SCOPE certification in obesity management from the European Association for the Study of Obesity and am a member of ASPEN, the American nutrition society. The approach is evidence-based and patient-led — no crash diets, no products to buy.

How the programme works

What I can help with

  • Overweight and obesity, including weight-loss medication where appropriate
  • Weight regain after previous diets or bariatric surgery
  • Nutrition for diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and fatty liver
  • Diet planning around Ramadan, travel and shift work
  • Nutritional assessment during and after illness
  • Body composition tracking and realistic targets

Wellness and longevity

A yearly, evidence-based check-up that looks at everything most likely to shorten your healthy life — heart, metabolism, cancer screening, sleep, strength — and turns it into a plan you can follow.

About the longevity check-up

Heart and metabolism

Blood pressure, lipids, sugar, weight and a 10-year risk score explained in plain words.

Screening that's worth doing

The cancer checks that fit your age and history — and none that don't.

Strength, sleep and mood

The things that predict independence in later life, assessed properly.

A written plan, reviewed yearly

Three or four priorities, what we'll do about each, and when we check again.

Beyond the clinic

Research, teaching and the professional community — the other half of the work.

Research & publications

Tourist health epidemiology, resort medicine and public health preparedness in Sharm El-Sheikh.

Teaching & training

Certified trainer (TOT, NIOSH): first aid, infection control, occupational safety and quality for hotels and clinics.

Conferences

ESH 2026 Gdańsk, ESPEN 2026 Berlin and other international scientific meetings.

Courses & certificates

Diplomas in family medicine, diabetes, hospital management, quality and infection control.
