Ways to see me
Clinic appointment
At NewCare Clinics in Sharm El-Sheikh. Same-day slots are usually available for acute problems; book ahead for check-ups and nutrition visits.
Hotel visit
I come to your room if you're too unwell to travel or simply prefer it. Available across Sharm El-Sheikh; tell me your hotel and room number when you book.
Video consultation
By WhatsApp video or a link I send you. Good for follow-ups, results, second opinions, pre-travel advice, and nutrition and weight reviews. Prescriptions and reports are sent as PDF.

What I treat and manage
Acute illness
Fever, sore throat, chest and sinus infections, stomach upsets and travellers' diarrhoea, urinary infections, skin infections, ear problems after diving or swimming, sunburn and heat illness, allergic reactions, minor injuries.
Chronic conditions
High blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and prediabetes, high cholesterol, fatty liver, thyroid disorders, asthma and COPD, gout, anaemia, reflux and IBS — including care for visitors who run out of medication or need monitoring while abroad.
Prevention
Annual check-ups and the longevity check-up, cardiovascular risk assessment, cancer screening advice, adult vaccinations (influenza, pneumococcal, hepatitis A and B, tetanus), and smoking cessation.
Nutrition and weight
Medical weight management, obesity treatment including medication where appropriate, and nutrition for diabetes, hypertension and fatty liver. See the programme.
Diving and water sports
Fitness-to-dive assessments, ear and sinus barotrauma, marine stings and cuts, and advice on flying after diving. Referral to the hyperbaric chamber if decompression illness is suspected.
Reports and paperwork
Medical reports in English for travel insurers and assistance companies, fit-to-fly letters, sick notes, prescriptions in international generic names, and referral letters for your doctor at home.
Tests
Blood tests, urine tests, rapid tests for strep, influenza and COVID-19, ECG, and body composition analysis — arranged through the clinic and its partner laboratories.
Referral
When you need a specialist or a hospital I refer you to people I know and trust in Sharm El-Sheikh or Cairo, brief them, and stay involved in your care.
Fees and payment
Fees are quoted before the visit and confirmed in writing. Cash, card and bank transfer are accepted; for insured visitors, direct billing to your insurer or assistance company is usually possible — see international patients.
