Booking and visits
How do I book?
WhatsApp +20 100 616 4299 or use the contact form. Tell me your symptoms, where you're staying and whether you have insurance. I reply with the next available time.
Can you come to my hotel?
Yes, anywhere in Sharm El-Sheikh. Hotel visits cost more than clinic visits because of travel time. Give me your hotel name and room number when you book.
Do you offer video consultations?
Yes — by WhatsApp video or a link I send. They work well for follow-ups, results, second opinions, pre-travel advice and nutrition reviews. Some problems need an examination; if so I'll say.
What languages do you speak?
Arabic and English fluently; Italian and Russian at a working level. For other languages I use a translation app and a family member if you have one with you.
Insurance and payment
Do you accept travel insurance?
Yes. Send a photo of your policy and I contact your assistance company for a guarantee of payment, so you normally pay nothing on the spot. If they decline or you prefer, you pay directly and I provide an itemised invoice and report for your claim.
How much does a visit cost?
I quote the fee before the visit, in writing. It depends on whether it's a clinic visit, hotel visit or video call, and on tests or medicines. There are no hidden extras.
How can I pay?
Cash (EGP, EUR, USD, GBP), card, or bank transfer.
Medical questions
I have diarrhoea and vomiting — should I see a doctor?
Most cases settle in 1–3 days with fluids. See a doctor the same day if you have a fever above 38.5 °C, blood in the stool, can't keep fluids down, have severe abdominal pain, or are pregnant, elderly or have a chronic illness. Children under five should be seen early.
Can I get my regular medication here?
Usually yes. Bring the packaging or a photo of it; many medicines are available in Egypt under a different brand name, and I prescribe by generic name so the pharmacy can find it.
I've been diving — is it safe to fly?
Wait at least 12 hours after a single no-decompression dive and 18 hours after multiple dives or multiple days of diving. If you have joint pain, numbness, dizziness or unusual tiredness after diving, don't fly — contact me or the hyperbaric centre immediately.
Do I need vaccines to visit Egypt?
No vaccines are required for entry from Europe, the UK or the Gulf. Hepatitis A and a tetanus booster are recommended for most visitors; hepatitis B, typhoid and rabies depending on your trip. Yellow fever certification is required only if you arrive from a yellow fever country.
Can you write a fit-to-fly letter or a sick note?
Yes, after a consultation. Fit-to-fly letters follow airline requirements; sick notes are in English and, if needed, in your language via a certified translation.
Emergencies
What should I do in an emergency?
Call an ambulance on 123 or ask hotel reception to call one, and contact your assistance company. Then message me — I can advise which hospital and brief the team. I don't provide emergency ambulance services myself.
Which hospitals do you recommend?
It depends on the problem. For most conditions there are good private hospitals in Sharm El-Sheikh; for complex cases Cairo is 5–6 hours by road or an hour by air. I'll tell you honestly which is right for your situation.
