Teaching and training
I train the people who keep others safe: hotel staff, lifeguards, clinic teams and health-office employees. Practical, hands-on, and in Arabic or English.
Alongside clinical work I run training as a freelance trainer. I hold a Training of Trainers (TOT) certificate from the National Training Institute of the Egyptian Ministry of Health in Cairo, and I am a certified trainer with NIOSH, the US National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. Most of my sessions are for the tourism and healthcare sectors in South Sinai, where the same organisation often needs both.
Training I deliver
First aid, CPR and AEDFor hotel staff, lifeguards, dive centres and offices. Aligned with current AHA and ERC guidance, with the majority of the time spent hands-on. Includes drowning response for pool and beach teams.
Infection prevention and controlFor clinics, hotel medical rooms, spas and food-handling staff. Based on my 108-hour infection control management diploma and health-office inspection experience.
Occupational safety and healthNIOSH-certified content: hazard identification, risk assessment, incident reporting, and safety culture for hotels and healthcare facilities.
Healthcare quality and patient safetyQuality systems, accreditation readiness (including Temos standards for medical tourism), and Kaizen-style improvement events for clinics and hospitals.
Public health for non-cliniciansOutbreak recognition, notifiable diseases, food and water safety, and what a hotel must do when a guest is seriously ill — for hotel managers and guest-relations teams.
Death certification and vital registrationFor physicians and health-office staff: writing the ICD-10 cause-of-death chain correctly, common errors, and case scenarios.
Format
- Half-day, full-day or multi-session programmes, on site at your premises
- Arabic or English; bilingual materials available
- Skills assessment and certificate of attendance for every participant
- Groups of 8–25 for hands-on courses; larger for awareness sessions
